Beginning Ukulele ( first time students only)

In this class, students will learn how to hold and tune the ukulele, how to read the music sheet, and how to play and practice the ukulele. (WAHC has ukuleles that can be used, a $20 refundable deposit is required.)

THIS IS ME - Taking Stage - High School

"THIS IS ME: Finding My Voice" is a chance for youth to build the skills needed to perform monologues which focus on the individual persoanal struggles and conflicts of young people today.  In so doing the performers can express the feelings and passions of young writers, and celebrate the humanity we all share, recognizing that "we are all in this together".

Animal Crossing

Design your own animal crossing character and learn to paint animals we see every day.

Animal Fun

Animals, animals everywhre!  Have fun creating farm and zoo animals with these creative, hands-on , sensory activities.  Stretch like a giraffe, play in the mud like a pig, tidy up like an elephant and even feed a lion!  Links will be provided for your child to see animals at farms and zoos around the world.

July 6-10        Ages 2-4

Art Around the World

Students will make projects from countries around the world including Mexico and India.

Art Upcycled

Use everyday items and some found in nature to create works of art that make noise, decorate your house, students can wear and so much more.  Use the items provided or break the boundaries and create more things with what you find at home.

July 27-31      Ages  5-7

At the Zoo

Students will make animals, masks, and an "aquarium", all related to animals found at the zoo.

Don't Bug Me

No matter where you live, you live near bugs!  These bug activities are designed to get your child moving and have fun.  Students will paint, hunt, throw and dance with these hands-on but activities.  Each activity is paired with a book or song that you can find on You Tube (links included in the packet)

June 22-26 - Ages 2-4

Drawing Nature

Draw along with Meagan as she shows how to draw landscapes and flowers. Students will receive their very own sketchbook!
